AMD reported third-quarter results for fiscal year 2026 on Tuesday, with revenue up 45% year-over-year to $13.4 billion. Among them, the data center business contributed $8.5 billion in revenue, up 97% year-on-year. Revenue from the Client & Gaming business unit fell 8% to $3.7 billion. As AMD’s main competitor in the x86 market, Intel’s revenue is expected to be $15-16 billion in the next quarter, and its growth is almost stagnant. By comparison, AMD expects revenue to reach approximately $17 billion in the next quarter. If achieved, this would mark the first time AMD’s revenue has surpassed Intel’s.
