36Kr has learned that Shunwei Storage and Micius Labs recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Leveraging Micius Labs’ research capabilities in semiconductor materials, devices, and chip design simulation, and combining Shunwei Storage’s independent and large-scale manufacturing capabilities in high-end storage products, including main control chip R&D, packaging, and testing, the two parties will collaborate on projects, joint R&D, and platform resource sharing, building upon existing projects serving the core nodes of the national supercomputing internet in Henan and satellite internet’s onboard storage and data backhaul. Targeting the storage needs of overseas “space computing power” and “space-based computing power,” the two parties will focus on key R&D efforts in aerospace-grade storage technologies and products.
