At its earnings conference on October 24, CETC Instruments stated that the company has been continuously developing its PCB testing capabilities, with previous solutions primarily focused on R&D or the R&D process of PCB manufacturers. To address the demand for efficient automated testing on mass production lines, the company is developing automated testing solutions for PCB production lines, extending its capabilities from R&D to the mass production industry. During the Shenzhen Semiconductor Exhibition, the company will release a new, higher-frequency, higher-quality vector network analyzer and a series of testing solutions, including PCB testing solutions. Currently, revenue from PCB testing directly used in the industry accounts for a relatively small percentage. High-speed automated PCB testing requires not only the company’s own VNA products and software algorithms but also external capabilities such as test bases. The company needs to work with partners to further develop these technologies. PCB testing mainly covers indicators such as insertion loss, impedance, and dielectric constant. With the evolution of high-speed transmission towards 112G and 224G, the demand for related testing continues, and the current sample verification results are generally in line with expectations.
