On September 22, at the 2026 Yunqi Conference, Alibaba Cloud officially launched a new generation of high-performance storage CPFs (Cloud Parallel File Storage) for the next generation of AI training clusters, providing up to 100 TB/s throughput and 100 million IOPS, increasing the size of a single file system by 5 times to 100 PiB, accelerating training for megacard models, supporting large-scale model training and multi-modal data processing. In actual training, the average time to start the model can be reduced by 50%, the peak computing power utilization rate can be increased by 30%, the AI storage cost can be reduced by 69%, and the business carrying capacity can be doubled.
