GMI Cloud, a five-year company offering Nvidia chip-based servers to corporate clients, announced on Wednesday that it had raised $668 million in equity debt. In this round of financing, $223 million of equity financing was led by the new AI and robotics investment institution Archiv, with Nvidia participating in the follow-up investment. The company did not disclose its valuation, but said its annualized contract revenue exceeded $600 million. This round of funding shows that Nvidia is continuing to support emerging small and medium-sized cloud service providers, focusing on companies that can boost Nvidia’s business from multiple dimensions.
